Signed by influential American Art Nouveau artist Will Bradley to the colophon. Very scarce to find such copies.
Undated, dated from an identical copy held at the Victoria and Albert Museum Libraries.
In the original paper covered boards, with original paper title label.
Will Bradley was an American Art Nouveau illustrator, artist and film director who was considered the foremost poster designer of the movement. He was the highest-paid American artist of the early 20th century, nicknamed the "Dean of American Designers" by The Saturday Evening Post.
This work is one of four volumes arranged and put into type by Bradley, issued from his private press 'Sign of the Vine', Concord, Massachusetts. Containing Robert Browning's poem 'Rabbi Ben Ezra' which centres around the famous 12th-century Jewish poet and scholar, Rabbi Abraham ibn Ezra.
Condition
In the original paper covered boards, with the original title label to the front. Externally, very smart, with sunning to the spine and label. However, with only minor shelf wear. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
