First edition. Scarce work. Illustrated with six colour plates. Collated complete. A charming story for children from Raymond Jacberns, a British author of children's fiction. Illustrated by Hilda Cowham, an English illustrator noted for her work on children's books and nurseryware.

Condition

In the original red cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting. Previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown.
