The uncommon first edition of this work.

Journalist David Fraser offers a description of Iran and Turkey in the early twentieth century, during which he travelled the region as a journalist.

Illustrated with a frontispiece and fifty plates featuring 120 images and maps. Collated, complete.

With the bookplate of F. Diba to the front pastedown, and his inscription to the front free endpaper. Diba published a bibliography of Persia in 1981.

Frasers covers the events of the Persian Constitutional Revolution.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head and tail. Light fading to back strip, with small mark to head of front board. Front hinge strained but firmly held. Bookplate to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
