Two charming works of fiction from Edith Anna Œnone Somerville and her cousin, Violet Martin, who wrote under the pseudonym Martin Ross.
Both volumes are in scarce unclipped early dust wrappers.

'All On The Irish Shore: Irish Sketches', a short story collection, illustrated with ten plates by Somerville. Collated, complete.
First published in 1903, this is a 1910 printing.
A 1910 copy of 'Further Experiences of an Irish R.M.', which was first published in 1908. With thirty-five plates by Somerville. Collated, complete.
Three pages of advertisements to the rear of 'Further Experiences'.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth bindings, with unclipped dust wrappers. Light shelf wear to back strip tails, otherwise externally excellent. Spotting to text block fore edge. Dust wrapper back strip and wrap perimeters age toned, with closed tears and edgewear to back strip heads. Closed tear to back strip tail of 'All', and head of fold over rear joint of 'Further'. Internally, firmly bound. Pages of 'Further' clean and bright, with light spotting throughout 'All'.
