A delightfully bound volume. In morocco backed olive wood boards, with the Jerusalem cross engraved to the front board, beneath which appears the word 'Jerusalem'. This volume is bound in olive wood grown in Jerusalem.

Illustrated with eleven colour plates. Collated, complete.
With a separate title page and pagination for 'Hymns Ancient and Modern', as called for. The first part of the work, the 'Book of Common Prayer', is dated 1910 via the Trinity College Dublin Libraries, with 'Tudor 32mo' to the title page tail as called for, and with the second part of the work 'Hymns Ancient and Modern' dated 1916.
With a former owner's inscription to verso of front free endpaper.
Condition
In morocco backed wood boards. Rubbing to back strip head and tail, with minor loss of leather to back strip head. Boards clean and bright. Head of rear joint, and head and tail of front joint starting, with front board somewhat tender, and rear board firmly held. Former owner's inscription to verso of front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
