The first edition of this work, dated from Jisc first and only edition. A scarce copy.

Charming personal diary of a white puppy with a docked tail. Coloured illustrations are printed on grey shade paper. Written and beautifully illustrated by Cecil Aldin, British artist known for his paintings and sketches of animals and rural life.

Condition

Rebacked in quarter cloth binding, original illustrated boards restored. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only, lightly rubbed to extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Odd light spotting to occasional leaf, otherwise pages bright and clean throughout.

Overall: Very Good Indeed
