Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally, very smart indeed, with minor shelf wear and a few faint marks to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with light spotting to the first and last few pages. Neat contemporary ownership inscription to the half title page. With a 2.5" closed tear to the folding map frontispiece and a running closed tear along the inside of the rear folding map. With the London and New York publisher's information tipped-in to the title page.
