What Our Customers Say...

Description

Colour Plates, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

First published in 1903, this is an exceptionally lovely 1909 printing of Potter's beloved work, identified by the presence of Quinby plate VII endpapers, and the date 1903 to the colophon.

Beautifully illustrated in colour in Potter's typical style, with twenty-seven plates. Collated, complete.

A charming children's work from Beatrix Potter. For years, Potter declared that of all her books this was her personal favourite. She tells the story of a tailor whose work on a waistcoat is finished by the grateful mouse he rescues from his cat.

Condition
