    A collection of seven volumes of musical sheets bound in one. 

    The present collection is comprised of the following titles:

    Four Old English Songs: Orpheus with His Lute; Under the Greenwood Tree; Who is Sylvia?; It was a Lover, 1909. Poems by William Shakespeare and music by Eric Coates. Facsimile signature of Coates to the title page. 

    Songs of Sorrow: A Coronal; A Land of Silence; Passing Dreams; In Spring, 1908. Poems of Ernest Dowson, music by Roger Quilter. with Roger Quilter's facsimile signature to the title page. 

    Five Miniature Ballads: A Song Cycle, c1907 from Jisc. Words by Olive Christian Malvery (German and French versions by Adolph G. Haltenhoff) ; music by William Y. Hurlstone.

    English Lyrics (Seventh Set) set to music by C H H Parry, 1896 from Jisc. 

    The Water Mill by Fredegond Shove, music by R. Vaughan Williams, dated c1925 from Jisc. 

    Operatic Anthology: Celebrated Arias, Duets, Trios, Quarters, and Quintets selected and edited by Max Spicker., dated c1912 from Jisc.

    Condition

    In a full cloth binding. Externally very smart with only minor shelf wear and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, with minor marking to the front board. Inscribed in pencil to the title page of 'Four Old English Songs', facsimile signature of Coates to the title page as well as that of Roger Quilter to the title page of 'Songs of Sorrow.' With a tape repairing to the last leaf of text of 'Operatic Anthology.' Internally, firmly bound. The pages are generally clean with a hint of age toning, as usual.
