    First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce

    Scarce first edition of this novel by Harry Collingwood, a juvenile adventure story in a nautical and airhip setting with illustrations by Edward S Hodgson. 

    Harry Collingwood was a British civil engineer and prolific author of boys' adventure books.

    Condition

    In the original publishers pictorial cloth binding. Externally generally smart with minor shelf wear, bumped to head and tail of spine, damp marks to outer edge front and rear board. Previous ownership ink inscription to front free endpaper, undated. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to occasional leaf, otherwise pages generally bright and clean.
