In the publisher's original cloth. Externally generally smart with bumping, fading and rubbing to the spine and extremities. Rubbing resulting in loss to the gilt lettering and marks to the boards. Pencil inscription and offsetting to the front and back pastedown. Internally firmly bound with generally bright pages. Minor spotting, heavier to the front and rear. Offsetting to the half title. A blank page to the front has been excised.
