This pocket sized volume features a collection of sayings from the noteworthy English Writer, poet, lexicographer and critic, Samuel Johnson. The sayings cover subjects such as sailors, wine and tobacco, and his opinions on figures such as Thomas Gray.
Condition
In the publisher's original plain card covers and original dust wrapper. Externally very smart with the odd spot and bumping to the extremities. Small closed tear to the rear hinge. The wrap is generally smart with sunning, handling marks, and small closed tears and chips to the extremities. Internally firmly bound with minimal age toning and light spotting throughout.
