Half-calf, re-backed in modern calf, with marbled paper to the contemporary boards, original spine label laid down. Externally very smart with slight cracking to the spine, and slight bumping and wear to the extremities of the boards. Ink notations and the odd spot to the endpapers. Rear board lifting from the hinge slightly. Internally firmly bound with minimal age toning and light spotting to the extremities of the pages. with owner's signature to the title page. Closed tear to the map of the West Indies.
