'The Ingoldsby Legends' is a collection of whimsical legends, myths, and ghost stories by Thomas Ingoldsby, the pen-name of clergyman Richard Harris Barham.
By Thomas Ingoldsby, the pen name for Richard Barham. Barham was a cleric of the Church of England, and is best known for this work. Barham was also known for his contributions to the 'Edinburgh Review' and the 'Literary Gazette'.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Very minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Some light marks to the boards and spine. Spine is a little faded. Spots to the fore edge. Bookseller's label to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some scattered spots.
