What Our Customers Say...
Description
Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding
The tenth edition, reprinted March, 1907.
In the publishers' original cloth binding, with an illustrative gilt stamp to the front board.
Illustrated with many engravings on wood.
This monumental publication develops William Robinson's ideas of wild or naturalistic gardening, which ultimately led to the popularising of the English cottage garden, a long neglected style by fashionable landscapists.
In the book, he encourages each and every person to be individual in creating their own garden and details the study of the interaction of plants, including how each one's size, shape and foliage works with the other.
