    The eighth edition of this work. Containing a series of sermons by John Thain Davidson, Presbyterian minister in the nineteenth century. The content is mostly addressed to young men.

    In a full calf binding by Bickers and Son. Previous owner's gift inscription to front blank page dated 1920.

    Condition

    Rebound in full calf signed Bickers & Son, with five raised bands, decorative gilt tooling to spine, morocco spine title label, marbled edges and endpapers. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only. Previous owner's gift inscription to recto front blank leaf, dated 1920. Internally, firmly bound. Odd light spotting to occasional leaf, otherwise pages bright and clean.
