A vanishingly scarce novel. 

This work was written by James Blyth and tells the story of an imaginative young woman called Mary who feels lost in the mundane world who meets a man called John. John introduces her to the wonderful world of the arts and literature, but soon realises that he is not who he seems.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally generally smart with fading to the spine with closed tears to the head and tail, bumping to the extremities, marks to the boards including damp stains, and slight rubbing to the joints with a closed tear to the tail of the rear joint. Bookplate for 'R. W. Lamb' to front pastedown with spotting to endpapers. Internally, generally firmly bound with pp5-14 starting. Minimal age toning with light spotting, heavier to the front and rear.
