    The first edition. 

    Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, sixteen monochrome plates, monochrome plans, and a folding plan to the rear. Collated, complete. 

    A very scarce work. 

    This work was written by A. C. Curtis and provides a guide to creating a beautiful garden, with illustrations and plans to assist in your journey.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth. Externally excellent with very slight fading, the odd mark and minimal rubbing to the head and tail of the spine. Minimal offsetting and spotting to the endpapers with an ink signature to the front. Internally firmly bound with generally bright pages with light spotting, heavier to the front.
