    Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

    Two volumes from Caxton Publishing Company's 'The Golden Poets' series, these two volumes comprising of the poetry of Sir Walter Scott and John Greenleaf Whittier.

    'Scott' is illustrated by A. S. Forrest with a monochrome frontispiece, monochrome engraved title page, and eight colour plates. Collated, complete.

    'Whittier' is illustrated by Charles Pears with a monochrome frontispiece, monochrome engraved title page, and eight colour plates. Collated, complete.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Minor bumping to the spines and extremities. Some light marks to the boards and spines. Hinges of 'Scott' are starting but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are very lightly age-toned and clean.
