With the bookplate of Martin and Pamela Finch to the front free endpaper. They were antiquarian booksellers with an interest in antiquarian gastronomy.
With discussion of methods of cooking and preparing turkeys, of Chinese restaurants, of 'foods and cookery from the colonies', this is a fascinating insight into early 20th century culinary trends.

Rebound in cloth, with endpapers renewed, and with publisher's original front wrap bound in. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with small loss to back strip head. Light ink marks to front board. Hinges strained, but firmly held. Bookplate to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
