A collection of new and old stories following the adventures, deeds, and opinions of the character of Appelschnut, whose real name was Senta-Regina Moller-Ernst, the daughter of the poet Otto Ernst. Her father nicknamed her "Appelschnut" (apple mouth), and used this title to create stories describing his youngest daughter's childhood. The warm and humorous texts appeared in multiple editions and as reprints. Written by Otto Ernst, a German poet and writer. Illustrated by Richard Scholz, a German painter and illustrator.
