With four tissue-guarded monochrome photogravure plates from drawings by the British illustrator G.E. Lodge and twelve black and white photographic illustrations. Collated complete.

Written by Captain W. Coape Oates, this work is a helpful and thorough guide to those anxious to rear wild ducks on economical lines. With extensive instructions on how to select a home for your ducks, to hatching and laying, to shooting.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding with gilt titles. Externally, very smart. Light bumping and wear to boards extremities. Minor rubbing to joints. Scattered spotting on end papers. Ink inscription on front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with the odd spot. One tissue guard missing for the photogravure titled 'A Tidy Mother', page 33.
