First edition. Very scarce work. Referring to the rules and regulations governing the Cathedral Church of Saint Mary and Saint Chad in Lichfield, a Church of England cathedral in the city of Lichfield, England, consecrated on the present site in 700. Containing chapters of the cathedral, the Lord Bishop, the Dean, the Canons, the Vicars, choristers, clerks, services, and historical memoranda.
Condition
In the original full green cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities and minor loss to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light age toning and the odd small spot to the endpapers. A contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper with the previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown. With a cut to the rear endpaper, resulting in light loss.
