This very scarce work was written by Ebenezer Wilmshurst and features a collection of cautionary tales and proverbs, including 'The Morte Stone' about a shipwrecking rock in Devon.

Condition

In the publisher's original pictorial hardback. Externally generally smart with sunning, tears and creasing to the spine, handling marks and wear to the extremities. Lacking front and rear endpapers. Internally firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages.
