Published by the Venetian publisher and bookseller Ferdinando Ongania, known for using the latest available photographic techniques to create facsimile volumes.

Condition

In the original publisher's velvet binding. Externally, smart. Gilt onlay to the front board is a little rubbed. Light discolouration to the velvet, a little heavier to the spine. Minor bumping to the extremities and to the head of the spine. Small chip to the spine. Internally, binding is strained, weak between plates 4 and 5. Pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot, including to the endpapers.
