A very scarce work.

This collection of translated works was written by H. C. G. Moule, the Bishop of Durham and an Anglican theologian, author and poet. The work features various works in Greek and Latin, with English translations. The works include a dramatic Greek mythological poem about Admetus and Apollo titled 'Apollo of Pherae'. 

In the publisher's original cloth.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with minor bumping and rubbing to the extremities, minor rubbing to the joints with very small closed tears to the front and wear to the head of the spine. Offsetting to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with generally bright pages and the odd spot.
