Richard Nicklin Hall's account of his two years in Zimbabwe, covering his government issued examination of the Great Zimbabwe archaeological site. The 'Great Zimbabwe' site featured the ruins of the former thirteenth century capital city of Zimbabwe, where Hall was stationed. The work also covers his observations of the camps, archaeological discoveries, notes on ancient architecture, the ruins and temples, and historical information on the Zimbabwe natives.

Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally, spine faded, with marks to the boards, and very minimal rubbing to the extremities. Front hinge tender, rear starting. Internally, binding strained to the centre, with bright and generally clean pages with occasional light spotting to the extremities.
