A collection of short stories and essays, including: An Apology for Idlers, El Dorado, Child's Play, Walking Tours, and A Plea for Gas Lamps, amongst others. Memories and Portraits, 1909. A collection of essays, including: The Foreigner at Home, Some College Memories, Old Morality, A College Magazine, and An Old Scotch Gardener, amongst others. In the South Seas, 1916. A collection of Stevenson's articles and essays on his travels in the Pacific, being an account of experiences and observations in the Marquesas, Paumotus, and Gilbert Islands in the course of two cruises on the yacht Casco and the schooner Equator. An Inland Voyage, 1917. A travelogue of a canoeing trip through France and Belgium in 1876. It is Stevenson's earliest book and a pioneering work of outdoor literature.
