Led by Lieutenant-General Sir John Moore, a British Army officer and politician, who ultimately was fatally wounded during battle in Spain. Previously held in the library of Captain T. V. Scudamore, a Canadian military officer of the Expeditionary Force. The Napoleonic Campaign of 1805, 1912. Illustrated with three maps, two of which are folding. Collated complete. Dealing with the Napoleonic Campaign of 1805, from March 30th to the end of the year with special reference to the period of November 27th to December 4th. A series of military maneuvers and battles primarily in Germany and Bohemia during the War of the Third Coalition.
Condition
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting, predominantly to the first and last few pages. Age toning to the endpapers. Previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown of The Spanish Campaign of Sir John Moore.
