This work was written by Jennie Campbell, and tells the stories of four of notable Christian women from around the world. The biographies tell the stories of 'Emma Booth-Tucker', the daughter of the founder of the Salvation Army and officer in the organisation, 'Mrs C. H. Spurgeon', an author and wife of the Preacher Charles Spurgeon, 'Frances Ridley Havergal', a poet and hymnwriter, and Pandita Ramabai, an Indian Christian missionary.

Condition
Bound in half calf with cloth to the boards. Externally smart with rubbing to the extremities and fading to the spine. Hinges tender. Internally firmly bound with age toned and generally clean pages with the odd spot, heavier to the front.
