A study of the rich history of Westminster Abbey, exploring its architectural evolution, significant figures buried within its walls, and the connections between the English monarchy and the church. Written by Mrs. A. Murray Smith. Illustrated by John Fulleylove, an English landscape artist and illustrator. Four leaves of publisher's advertisements to the rear.

Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor wear and light fading to the extremities. The odd small mark to the cloth. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting. Age toning to the endpapers.
