    Description

    Leather Binding

    The Oxford complete edition of this work in a full morocco binding, with gilt decoration to the square and 'Oxford binding' stamped to the front paste down. All edges gilt.

    Ink inscription to the verso of the front free end paper and to the front blank, dated 1919.

    The Oxford Complete edition of this collection of the poetical works of Sir Walter Scott, edited by J. Logie Robertson. This edition contains the works from Scott's entire poetical career including 'The Lay of The Last Minstrel', 'The Lady of the Lake', 'Rokeby', 'Ballads From The German' and 'Imitations of the Ancient Ballad'.

    Condition

    In a full morocco binding. Externally fairly smart, with rubbing to the spine and extremities. Front hinge is slightly strained but held firmly by cords. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for spotting to the first and last few pages.
