This charming children's book was written by the noted children's book author, George Edward Farrow, best known for his nonsense books. The story follows two children who are made smaller by magic, and enter a magical world full of whimsical creatures such as gnomes, talking animals, mermaids and the peculiar professor Philanderpan.
Condition
In the publisher's original gilt cloth. Externally very smart with fading, small tears to the head and tail and loss to the head to the spine, and closed tears to the joints. Light spotting and offsetting to the endpapers with an ink inscription dated 1906 to the front. Internally firmly bound with slightly age toned pages with the odd spot, heavier to the front and rear.
