In the publisher's original green cloth binding with blind stamped border design. This volume consists of a ninth edition (1904) which has been revised and enlarged, a first edition (1898), and second edition (1904), bound as one by the publisher. This volume is illustrated throughout. Book I, the ninth edition, 56 plates, 4 coloured and 1 of which is a fold-out. book II. the first edition, contains 25 plates, 2 coloured. Book III, the second edition contains 44 plates, 4 of which are coloured. Each having an intricately illustrated frontispiece. Collated, complete. This text was designed to support engineering students in mastering mechanical drawing techniques, a foundational skill in early 20th century technical education.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, in very good condition, with some bumping and shelf wear to extremities. The odd handling mark to boards. Slight offsetting to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean, with some age toning and the odd pencil inscription from previous owner. The odd spot closer to the fore edge. The occasional closed tear to folding plates.
