An early twentieth-century guide, for tourists and residents, to conversations in the Japanese language, with a carefully selected vocabulary of words and phrases. This guide begins with verbs, numbers, dates, currency and measures, and then provides English to Japanese vocabulary and phrases, printed in double columns.

Ink inscription to the front free end paper. Two pages of ink inscriptions and one page of pencil inscriptions to the rear.

Condition

In the publisher's original limp cloth binding. Externally generally smart, with fading to the spine and rear of board, and a mark to the front board. A little warping to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
