    In the original cloth binding.

    Illustrated with a coloured frontispiece and eighteen monochrome plates. Collated, complete. 

    Credited here under Mrs. Henry Cooper Eggar, this charming volume looks into the life of a woman navigating the world of gardening in colonial India. With chapters spanning from March-August, the author discusses the effects of the changing seasons, spotted wildlife and the magnificent flora.

    Condition

    In the original cloth binding. Externally, with fading to the spine and loss to the head and tail of the back strip. Frontispiece detached, but present.
