A delightfully illustrated play, written by the notable British illustrator, painter and author W. Graham Robertson (1866-1948).
Robertson was an art collector, donating much of his work to the Tate Gallery. An important figure in the arts of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, he was associated with Oscar Wilde and Kenneth Grahame.
Condition
In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with small marks to the boards. Slightly discoloured to the spine, with tears to the joints, causing the backstrip to lift to head. Frontispiece is detached but intact. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with the odd spot throughout.
