Previously owned by the noted mathematician, David Singmaster, with his signature to the front. Singmaster was the emeritus professor of mathematics at the London South Bank University, and is known for providing the first mathematical analysis of the Rubik's Cube. 

An informative work on arithmancy by A. Sonnenschein and H. A. Nesbitt, covering multiplication, division, vulgar fractions, approximate calculations, and much more. The work includes problems and answers with informative explanations.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with minimal bumping and wear to the extremities. Endpapers age toned, with David Singmaster signature to the front free endpaper, and rear hinge starting and age toning to endpapers. Internally firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
