    Illustrated, Rebound

    Forty articles from sports magazine 'The Badminton Magazine of Sports and Pastimes', with each article dated from various issues between 1903 and 1919, rebound in full cloth.

    With articles bound out of order, the latest being No. CCLXXXV, Vol. LI, April 1919, 'Romulus and Remus' by Richard Trench Bell, and the earliest being No. XCVIII, Vol. XVII, September 1903, 'Famous Homes of Sport, Holkham' by Arthur Acland-Hood.

    With further articles including 'The Importance of Leaving a Good Breeding-Stock', by 'Cornish Chough', 'Grouse Shooting' by Percy Stephens, 'The Unwritten Laws of Shooting', by The Marquess of Grandby and 'The Autobiography of a Trout' by Dr. Francis Ward.

    With a lengthy article, written with permission of His Majesty the King, titled 'Sandringham', by Alfred E. T. Watson, discussing the sporting activities that occur in the home.

    Illustrated throughout with vignette and full plate illustrations and photographs.

    With the bookplate of Alan Thornton to the front pastedown, and a former owner's inscription to front free endpaper.

    Rebound in full cloth. Bumping to back strip tail. Head of front joint starting. Boards holding firm. Light fading to head of front board. Bookplate to front pastedown. Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally clean and bright, with the odd light handling mark.
