A scarce special commemorative edition of the Book of Common Prayer. This volume of the Church of England’s Book of Common Prayer was produced to commemorate the coronation of Edward VII and his wife, Alexandra, as king and queen of the United Kingdom. To the rear, individually paginated and with a separate title page, is 'The Form and Order of the Service that is to be performed and of the Ceremonies that are to be observed in the Coronation of their Majesties'.

Condition

Bound in full calf. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and board edges. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd small spot. A contemporary ink inscription to the front free endpaper.
