Edmund Waller (1606–1687) was a seventeenth-century English poet and politician, admired for his refinement of the heroic couplet and his influence on later poets such as Dryden and Pope.

Bound in the publisher's original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, smart. Slight rubbing to extremities. The odd handling mark to boards. Slight soiling to boards and cloth. Slight offsetting to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with one or two spots to fore edge.
