George Barrow was an English novelist and wrote particularly of travel and personal experiences in Europe. Lavengro is somewhere between the genres of memoir and novel and is considered a classic of 19th-Century English Literature.
Complete with ten plate illustrations and a frontispiece.
Collated, complete.
Condition
In full leather binding. Externally smart. The spine is a little faded and there are a few marks to the boards. There is a bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound with bright clean pages with the occasional spot.
