Previously owned by Harry Graham, the English writer and lyricist, with his bookplate to the front. 

This volume features the earliest form of Oliver Goldsmith's renowned eighteenth century poem 'The Traveller', being reprinted from a unique original for the first time. The volume also includes a facsimile of the first edition of 'The traveller'. 

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally smart with fading to the spine and boards, bumping to the extremities of the boards, and a small damp stain to the front board. Bookplate of 'Harry Jocelyn Clive Graham' to the front pastedown with light spotting and offsetting to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with age toned and generally clean pages with the odd spot.
