Description
Leather Binding, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding
French. Two volumes. This collection contains: La Vie Chretienne Au Milieu du Monde, 1902. A detailed study of Christian life and the individual's commitment to their faith at the time of writing, with practical interviews exploring the adhesion to the will of God, and the idea of forgetting God in everyday life. Written by Joseph-Henri Lasserre, a French Catholic journalist and writer. Lettres du R. P. Didon, 1902. A collection of the letters of Henri Louis Remy Didon, a French Dominican friar, writer, educator, and a promoter of youth sports. His bold personality often put him in conflict with his religious hierarchy. The deeply religious character of Father Didon is especially manifest in this work, which quickly went through thirty editions and appeared in English by the early 1900s.
