First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

The first edition of this very scarce work.

'The Sea Hath its Pearls' is a romantic tale which draws inspiration from Heinrich Heine's poem of the same way. The novel blends together romance and fantasy, and ruminates on the mystery and beauty of the sea.

By Nellie K. Blissett, who also wrote 'Beggars' Luck', 'The Silver Key', and 'The Bindweed'.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Spine and extremities are faded. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Light marks to the cloth. Front hinge is starting but firm. Spots to the fore edge and endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with the occasional scattered spot.
