Illustrated, Leather Binding

Bryce's famous miniature Bible. Originally published in 1896 and drawing on advances in photolithography, it was at the time the smallest complete Bible ever printed.

Bound in a full red crushed morocco. 

Illustrated with a frontispiece and nine full page illustrations. 

David Bryce and Son was known as being one of the most prolific and successful makers of miniature books, with publications including the smallest English dictionary in the world, a famous edition of Shakespeare's complete works, and a miniature Quran.

Condition

In full red crushed morocco. Externally, excellent, with minimal shelf wear. Internally, frontispiece is detached but present, otherwise firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with the odd spot.
