Florence Kate Upton's colourfully illustrated children's book following 'Golliwog' and his friends as they take on new adventures in their new auto-go-cart. The work was created in collaboration with Upton's mother, Bertha Upton, who provided the text. Florence Kate Upton is best known for being the creator of the 'Golliwog' character.

Condition
In the publisher's original quarter cloth with paper covered boards. Externally, marks to the boards, wear to the extremities, and tidemarks to the rear board. Hinges tender. Internally, binding starting slightly in places. Pages bright with the odd minor handling mark and spot, and the odd closed tear to the extremities. Owner's inscription to the title page. Slight creasing and minor loss to pp.32.
