    First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

    A very scarce first editions.

    With nine full page illustrations, and numerous vignettes throughout.

    A delightful collection of short tales for children, including 'Christmas Stockings', 'Dolly and Baby', 'Harold's Present', and 'A Funny Box'.

    Advertisements to pastedowns and endpapers.

    Former owner's inscription to half title.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth backed, pictorial paper covered boards. Light handling marks and instances of rubbing to boards, with back strip a touch age toned. Minor tide mark to back strip heads, penetrating to gutters of pastedowns. Former owner's inscription to half title. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright, with the odd light handling mark.
