    This work presents some of the most exciting sea fights and adventures of history, by the important naval historian John Knox Laughton. 

    Illustrated with a frontispiece, and thirty-one plates. Collated, complete.

    Label of the Royal Thames Yacht Club to the front paste down.

    Condition

    In a full calf binding, bound by Bumpus. Externally, generally smart, a little rubbed, with minor marks. Cracks to the head and tail of the front joint. Minor bumping to the extremities. Spine is faded. Institutional label to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with only a few scattered spots.
