What Our Customers Say...

Description

Decorative Binding, Early Edition, Illustrated

The ninth edition of this heavily illustrated collection of Edward Lear poems, in the publisher's original pictorial cloth.

Nonsense Songs and Stories compiles Lear's best-known poetry, as well as stories and songs about real and imagined creatures, together with numerous black and white illustrations.

With additional songs, and an introduction by Sir E. Strachey.

Lear wrote and illustrated a wide range of poems, songs, and short stories, many of which conform to his nonsense style that gained him notoriety. This work encapsulates his humour and nonsensical style through a series of charming poems and their accompanying illustrations.
